texas caviar + new years day= good luck

Eating your black-eyed peas on New Year’s Day will bring you luck in the new year. My only problem is I never really cared for them until I tried Texas caviar  years ago at Bubbalou’s Bodacious Bar-b-que in Winter Park.  Recently, I stumbled upon this great recipe via Epicurous, and modified it after reading the reviews.  It’s amazing.
